If I were the PM ... ? by BEST

........... Thailand, a country named as ‘The land of smile’ is now separated into two major parts, the red one and the yellow one. The daily violence that seems to be an ordinary scene for the Thais is continue to occur and likely to be more and more severe. It is because the political disagreements between people and the hottest issue that is raised up to debate whether is right or wrong is the corruption. In my opinion, saying a phrase ‘Corruption for the citizens sustenance’ is not reasonable. There are lots of legal ways to help the people. However, being a leader without developing the country is also not a good thing that the prime minister should do. This is another reason that is brought up to the table among the reds and yellows. These two topics make me wonder why can’t the prime minister do both things : developing and being honest in the same time?
........... If I were the prime minister, the first thing that I would mainly make a change in Thailand is the people’s education. Nowadays, the parents are thinking more about their children’s education than the past. However, there are still a large number of uneducated people in Thailand resulting from getting fewer opportunities such as the northeasterners. I would give them the scholarships to study at least until they receive their bachelor’s degrees. I would give raises and more workfares to the teachers to motivate people to give priority to the teacher when they need to think about their future career, so that some of the genius might think of learning about education instead of medicine and engineering. I think if the education is improved, it will lead to the better occupation and economics. Moreover, if the people were more educated, the riot in Thailand might not be out of control like in the present time because people were influenced harder. As the result, Thailand would be more peaceful.
........... If I were the prime minister, there would be no corruption in my country. The prime minister is the one who was chosen by the citizens to administrate the country. They believe that their PM will bring them the better quality of life...so how could I break down their faith?
